BREMA

Brema Modern motor-cycling Wear

The brand-name BREMA stands for “Manufatures of Brescia” (Bresciana Manifatture), the company founded by Bruno Gioli in 1969, was set up following his passion for motor-cycling and out of the need for motor-cycling products which were up to his expectations.
BREMA was the first company to create an essential style in modern motor-cycling wear. By substituting “conventional” materials viz. leather and “greased” cotton opened the way to the manufacturing of brand-new items that completely meet the technical demands of motor-cycling lovers.
By 1970, BREMA fully understood the importance of “transpiration of materials”; subsequently producing a mix of cotton and polyester wind-jackets that have been manufactured with highly transpiring and resistant fibres.
Brema introduced relevant innovations in terms of safety and protection; it was the forerunner of removable protective pieces of clothing applied on the top of the garments, with the dual-task of embellishing the attire and simultaneously offering more protection whenever required.
Typical of BREMA-company has been the very possibility of wearing these garments quite freely at any time and in any place heedless of their primary use; and for this, the company has undoubtedly proved to be ahead of its time.
In 2000 Giovanni Barocci acquired the brand and keeping in pace with the times, added a further line to the technical brands the first “travel collection” ever.
In 2010 BREMA passed from one step to another and hands over to Roberto Menichetti the running of the creative style line; which goes hand in hand with his passion for motor-cycling and his years of experience in working with famous brands that represent the best in fashion; something which, needless to say, will give the present company brand the ultimate boost.
